We love to get together as a Church body for Fellowship.
Building loving relationships in Christ.
This church has a tradition of fun family and community fellowship for over fifty years. Many of these events are still taking place (minus Covid year 2020).
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.EPHESIANS 2:8-10
There are yummy church potluck dinners about once a month during the school year, where friends and relatives are always welcome. Every other month or so there is a family game night that includes children. Each summer there is a church campout weekend that is family centered with many activities to participate in. During the summer months the church holds several “worship in the park” Sunday morning services as a way to engage the community and passers-by. The church attendees and families are encouraged to volunteer for trash clean-up day, as we are designated for “Adopt-A-Road” on Parmalee Gulch Road. Families often work together to schedule the children to attend Id-Ra-Ha-Je camp at the same time during the summer, which is a great week for all the kids!
On Easter morning the church holds an Easter Sunrise Service atop Mt. Falcon, where anyone from the area can come to enjoy worshipping the risen Lord in nature! Another tradition is for an Easter breakfast after the sunrise service, followed by the children’s Easter Egg Hunt, which always brings big smiles! Each Friday prior to Thanksgiving, the church hosts a Community Thanksgiving Dinner, with so many delicious main dishes, sides and desserts, which you don’t want to miss!
